Elbląg · Poland · October 2026

Three days before the world title is decided.

On 23–25 October, Elbląg hosts two WDSF World Championships and two World Opens. On 20, 21 and 22 October, DSTeam brings fifteen of the world's coaches to the same city. Most dancers fly in the night before and hope. You arrive three days early — and work.

Why Elbląg · Why October

You are already in the room.

Every year it goes the same way. You fly to a championship, land the night before, sleep badly, warm up for twenty minutes in a corridor, and dance. And the moment you walk off the floor you know exactly what was missing — but it's too late. The mistake that cost you on Friday had been sitting there for months, waiting for someone to name it.

Elbląg is the answer to that. It is the one weekend in the calendar where a world-class coach can watch you on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday — and you compete on Friday. No second flight. No second hotel. No losing your form in transit. What you fix on Wednesday, you dance on Friday.

Antoni Czyżyk has spent over twenty years bringing the world to this city. We bring the coaches. You bring the three things you want to fix.

Confirmed for Elbląg 2026. Every one of them has coached couples into world finals — and every one of them has a finite number of private lessons across the three days.

What you get

Every package includes.

  • All group classes on your days
Technique by discipline — Standard and Latin run in parallel. Not a generic masterclass: you work in your own discipline, at your own level.
  • Guided practice on the floor
Coaches stay on the floor between classes. You are never left practising alone with nobody watching.
  • One free private lesson per couple
Assigned by us from the confirmed faculty. Worth 90–130 € on its own.
  • Access to the private-lesson list
Book extra privates with any coach through the lesson form after you register. Extra privates are paid on site, directly to the coach.
  • Priority on private lessons if you compete at the Baltic Cup
Tick the box on the lesson form and you go to the front of the queue when we allocate the coaches' private hours. The couples who train here and then step onto that floor get first pick.
  • Platinum members: all three days free
Your membership covers the camp in full. (Free assigned private not included.)

The Early Bird deadline does not move. On 2 October we close the timetable and start allocating the coaches' hours. After that the price goes up and stays up — and the coaches who are already full stay full. Registration closes for good on 15 October.
Seniors · Standard

Walk on already warm.

On Friday 23 October, Elbląg hosts the WDSF World Championship Standard Senior IV and seven more senior competitions.

The evening before, we put you on the floor: two Standard group lessons and an exclusive practice, Thursday 22 October 18:00–20:15, plus one private lesson you can take on any camp day. You run your routines, a coach looks at them, and you compete already warm.

What actually runs out

We don't invent scarcity. Here is the real kind, and you can check all three:

  • Coaches' private lessons. In 2025, Pietro Braga, Justina Hawkins and Asis Khadjeh-Nouri were fully booked before registration even closed. When a coach fills up, they are marked sold out on the form and do not reopen.
  • Floor space at Światowid. The hall caps how many couples can work at once, which caps the group classes.
  • Hotel rooms in Elbląg. A city of this size absorbs 700+ athletes for the Baltic Cup. We can sort your room — but we can only sort what is still free when you write to us.

Our guarantee

Come on the first day. Work. If by the end of it you decide this is not what you needed, tell us and we refund the days you have not used — no argument, no form to fill in.

We have been running camps for fourteen years. We would rather refund you 80 € than have you spend three days in a hall you don't want to be in. The risk of showing up is ours, not yours.

The Venue

Centrum Spotkań Europejskich „Światowid"

Elbląg's cultural centre, in the middle of the old town, minutes from the competition floor. Sprung floors, proper sound, and enough space to run Standard and Latin at the same time without either group fighting for room.

Before you ask

Questions we always get.

Do I have to compete at the Baltic Cup to come to the camp?

No. Plenty of couples come purely to train — the championship next door just means the level in the room is higher than usual. If you are competing, tick the box on the lesson form: competitors get priority when we allocate the private lessons.

How do the private lessons work?

Register and pay for the camp here first. You then receive the lesson request form, where you pick which coaches you want and how many lessons with each. We build the timetable and send it to you before you travel. Extra privates are paid on site, directly to the coach — never through this page.

Is the price per couple or per dancer?

Per dancer. A couple doing three days at Early Bird is 247 € each — 494 € for the pair.

Can I pick which days if I book one or two?

Yes. You choose your days on the lesson form — one box for a 1-day package, two for a 2-day package. Pick whichever days suit you.

What if my coach fills up?

The form shows who is still open. If your first choice is sold out, you give us an alternative and we place you with a coach in the same discipline — never in a different one. If we can't place you at all, that lesson is not charged.

I'm a Platinum member. What do I do?

Don't pay here. Go straight to the lesson form and register as Platinum — all three days are covered by your membership.

Can I still register after 15 October?

No. The timetable is built and printed by then, and the coaches' days are allocated. 15 October is the hard close.

Elbląg · 20–22 October 2026

Everyone else flies in on Thursday night.

You can arrive the day before the championship and hope your training holds up. Or you can arrive on Tuesday, spend three days with the people who build world finalists, and walk onto that floor on Friday already warm.
